Speaking of rain! At Tampa Int'l Airport from 10 AM 7/31 to 10 AM this morning (and still coming down at present)

Either way, UKMET shows a wave heading our way in about 144 HR+, that will be cool.

Anybody have rainfall numbers (official or unofficial) for Pinellas county. I thik we may see hire numbers than TIA.

Doppler estimates 2.00-4.00 in some areas, but it's not over yet.

Doesn't look like any tropical development will come of this but at least this system is bringing some much needed rainfall for parts of Central Florida.

I still think development is possible. There is the CCW spin that is already there, warm water, and a broad area of low pressure. When some more convection refires it won't take much for it to become interesting.

There is a very pronouced spin south of the LA. coast.
The question is will it amount to anything?
It looks like it may be drifting southward.
