999 ? That's good for a nice TS ! Don't tell me there's no LLC with such a low pressure (if it's confirmed) !

Ya I saw that..Im not sure its at the surface tho...
I dont think so either. We will see if a center develops if it will be that far south away from main convection.

what we have seen already today is the effects of the warmer sea surface temps that have kept the convection going somewhat past the islands, what is needed now is the LLC to get him going more then who knows what could happen

WOW... this thing is flying. Looks impressive but it needs to slow down.

Yea, imagine what it would look like if it did slow down. Even if a LLC is found, it's going to be hard to stay stacked at this speed.

Im guessing no TD yet, doubt there is anything at the surface.
recon descending on the nw side and the lower they go the winds are east where they should be more NW
unless the wind field is small and confined close to the southern part of the convection

There is likely no LLC. The convection's already weakening. Low level convergence is weak at best, so any storms seem to be divergence and nocturnal maximum related. Soundings from Puerto Rico and the Lesser Antilles indicate a massive dry layer around H7 (signaling a SAL), and strong easterly winds at the mid-low levels (aoa 30-40 kt), which would likely rip any LLC apart.

On the NW quad of the circulation...if there was one...the winds should be from the northeast.
Whatever is there is racing along. Central America is going to get some rain I am sure...
