The tables are turned.....Summerhaven goes after SWCBD!!!!!

#1 Postby azsnowman » Sun Jun 22, 2003 7:34 pm

Take THIS Kerian, Robin  The municipality, along with the residents of Summerhaven, the little community on top of Mt. Lemmon that burnt to the ground, as of tomorrow morning, will be filing a lawsuit against Southwest Center For Biological Diversity in Federal Court. The Coronado National Forest Service had a thinning prolect scheduled in that area this past spring BUT.....the @$$holes with SWCBD filed a lawsuit to halt the project before it got off the ground BECAUSE of the Mexican Spotted Owl. Our closet and best friends in the world from Tucson called this morning, they are the ones who informed us of all this, they have a home in the FootHills of the Catalinas, they said last night when the fire laid down, they couldn't see, couldn't breath because of the smoke from the Aspen Fire!

Ain't this GGggggggreat news Steve, DJ???? God I'd love to see the faces of these buttheads when they learn of this lawsuit. I seriously doubt they HOA and the residents will win but..........at least the shoes on the other foot now!

I hope something good does come out of this Dennis! The people of Summerhaven certainly have a right to seek retribution.

Unfortunately, the spotted owl doesn't hve a place to live either due to their narrow mindedness.

Ya know........in all of our travels, all of the environmental impact studies and assessments we've done over the past 5 years and let me tell ya, we have done DOZENS of them, we have YET to see a Spotted Owl. The Rodeo Chediski Complex Fire and now the Aspen Fire has completly destroyed what so called *critical habitat* for these *invisible owls*.

There's a movement underway as we speak, we in the West are SICK and TIRED of this BS...I wouldn't call us vigalantes, well, maybe, are taking matters into our own hands and are starting thinning projects around our towns, our neighborhoods WITHOUT the blessings of the *Powers That Be*, we HAVE to, by the time Congress gets off their duffs and puts a stop to all these damn radical, terrorist environmentalists, we won't have homes to fight for!!!

I think the days of SWCBD, The Sierra Club, Guardians of the Forest, SW Friends of the Forest and other radical enviro wackos have just about run their course. I know Jannet Napalotono is typical politician BUT.......her words are true and her actions are MORE than words. She vowed to the residents of the White Mountains Saturday that she is working on a bill as we speak and will use her line veto is needed, to push a bill through the house to get started on hundreds of thinning projects that have been on the books for over 2 years but have been tied up in red tape thanks to the terrorists!

Its about time that someone decided to put the shoe on the other foot and counter sue these @$$holes. Sometimes I wonder if there is one brain shared between all of the wackos. Not allowing the areas to be thinned and cleaned out occasionally has proven fatal to the land.

Same thing happened here in the boundary waters canoe area here in northern MN. High winds knocked numerous acres of forest land to the ground and since no-one was allowed to log off the deadfall, guess what? Yep....fire. What stupidity.

OK, Sorry, end of rant

I'm Happy someone has stepped up to the plate to show these (ENVIRO TERRORIST) that they are actualy hurting the land by there actions. Proper forrest management is what is needed, like a farmer tending a crop. Not the crazy crap they keep trying to shove down everyones throats. How many lives have been lost fighting theses wild fires and how many lives have been ruined. Every person in the U.S who has lost a loved one or have lost everything they owned, due to the wildfires, should file a suite. Then maybe, just maybe, these radicals will see what they are really doing. :x

Unfortunately, good intentions seem to get buried beneath alot of bullshit and politics. The pendulum is swinging back and hopefully it will stay in the middle.

AZSnow, but you with your experience in doing environmental impact assessment should offer your testimony to the Lawyer(s) representing Summerhaven as an expert witness as to the harm these groups are doing to the forests.

Ive gone up against Keirnan Suckling...nice friggin name eh?He is dangerous and arrogant. He has been repremanded several times for clogging the Courts(The He and his Legal beagles OWN..the 9th Circuit,SF)
by the State Supreme Court...even Sacramento is tired of him.
My battles began over as you know...a much needed high school not far form here.........my Oldest son Carl(16) was finally given that school and was the firsr Frosh to attend.he will be a Jr next yr...at 'Ironwood Ridge High School'..I helped get it done..finished and built.I call it 'Pygmy Owl Hi'
The school was redistricted in a 'Ferriginous Pygmy Owl Habitat'..and out school was built 2.2 years late..1.7million over budget and we had to build an extra 'mini riparian' area next to the football field...It dam near bankrupted the Amphi School Dist. We got the summbich built tho.
Screw Him and his Leagal Entourage of Lib Attorney Burnouts from New Mexico and Boston....I have thier web site....its NAUSEATING!!These ppl are VIOLENT and WILL BURN,Pillage and DESTROY!I know. The Apt/Condos I live in were burned down by their 'Footsoldiers' 7yrs ago while being framed...also sev Million Dollar homes up on the Ridge next to me were BURNED to the Ground and 'Pygmy Owl Blood Ketchup' littered the crime scene.I'VE HAD IT!!!
Load thier site..guess what?Ya cant get in!They 'Check you out ' first.
LOL!!!Im going after the 9Th Circuit. If I find a 'Judge' so much as farts at a Giants Game...Im letting the Sh!t hit the Fan.

Steve, that's one of the reasons for our friends calling us on this, they too, want us down there, when it gets down to the nutz and boltz, we would be MORE than happy to help, with our studies in the Rodeo Chediski Complex Fire, we have enough *ammo* to HANG the @holes! "GET THE ROPE!"
