I'll take it for a week, although maybe not quite so hot.

Sorry. Back to the topic.

Nice visible pic.. It does look like it may be breaking apart and starting to try to form slowly.. Even if its just a TD or minimal TS, bring on the rain.. I don't mind it.. Its keeping it from being 95-100 degrees :) lol..

CLOUDINESS AND SHOWERS CONTINUE OVER THE NORTHEASTERN GULF OF MEXICO
ARE ASSOCIATED WITH A BROAD TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE. THERE ARE NO
SIGNS OF ORGANIZATION AND DEVELOPMENT...IF ANY...SHOULD BE SLOW TO
OCCUR.

Where is appears everything may be trying to come together is too close to the coast for anything significant to happen soon. I still think it will be an area to watch in the next day or two. I am moving back to Florida tommorow and Saturday so I am going with Murphy's law and expecting a lot of rain and overall bad weather for the drive.

From this afternoon's NWS discussion out of Tallahassee:

A WEAK LOW-LEVEL CIRCULATION CENTER
EMBEDDED WITHIN THE TROUGH JUST WEST-NORTHWEST OF TAMPA WILL
CONTINUE TO TRACK NORTHEASTWARD TOWARD THE BIG BEND TONIGHT AND
TOMORROW. WILL SHOW LIKELY POPS OVER THE EASTERN PORTION OF THE CWA
DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS TONIGHT AND INTO TOMORROW MORNING.
TOMORROW AND TOMORROW NIGHT...MODELS ARE BEGINNING TO COME INTO
BETTER AGREEMENT WITH ANOTHER DEVELOPING WEAK LOW-LEVEL
CIRCULATION SOUTH OF MOBILE AND TRACKING IT NORTHWARD TOWARD PANAMA
CITY.

Yeah it doesn't look too impressive at all right now.
I know it's early still but before you know it in 6 weeks
the "big" cold fronts start coming down south.

That's generally what you would expect with a stationary boundary . . . no flow pushing it either north or south (i.e. mainly E-W oriented winds) and sharp contrast in wind direction.

All I know we are getting some bad weather south of Fairhope along Mobile Bay. I can hear the lightening coming in so I will probably be unplugging in a few minutes.

We're heading to Navarre Beach Saturday... a sure sign of the eventual landfall 8-) I really don't see anything of real impact coming of this either but at least you guys in the new desert of Tampa will get some more liquid sunshine.
