Yes, that is the one I was referring to entering Mali. What is also interesting to note is that some of the wave series appear to be coming in 2's.

I always give the waves 3 days after they emerge West Africa to see how they evolve. But it will be very interesting to see when that biggie emerges, how it does. The important thing is what kind of enviroment it gets once it splashes into the water.

I believe this says it all...once it hits the water....it will die...to much dry air to the north even though there is moist air to the south...this is not looking good at all....seems as though the Azores High will NOT let go... :(

That only shows dry air north of 20. This wave is well below that.

Very impressive indeed....But conditions this time around i think will be more favorable for this wave to go ahead and develope some.

Hopefully it does it sooner and will only be a worry for the fishes.

I wouldn't be sad that nothing is developing. Enjoy this time and thank your lucky stars that conditions are so hostile for development.

Trsu me as one who has been through a few of these... you would not wish ANY hurricane on your worst enemy... especially a major hurricane (Katrina and Wilma were more than enlightening in that respect)

This wave is huge, if it develops i hope it develops fast and becomes a fish, at least something to track and maybe bring some surf to the east coast.

cooler water temps and strong ridging will keep this tracking west. not to mention negative mjo.

A sharp observer will see that the lower half of the ITCZ on the equator side is moistening up as the season gets closer to prime time.

Perhaps any day now...
