Fear the Shear...

If your a tropical Cyclone of course..Looking at the Western atlantic loop this moring all I see is brutal conditions for any formation within thousands of miles of the Continental US looks impossible..

This being said it can change in a heart beat.

I'm just looking at that little disturbance east of PR and the one East of FL getting major haircuts right now..

The shear that was seen on Friday in the Western Atlantic, Caribbean and Gulf was very impressive (and unexpected)...

If I haven't learned anything else about weather over the past 28 years - it's never to say that anything is a sure thing...

A hunch tells me that the wave at 65-70 W, is going to interact with this area your bringing up. I wonder if we may see a decent amount of convection in the next day or so.
