First Cane of the season

#1 Postby wobblehead » Wed Aug 08, 2007 8:39 pm

The first Cane of the season just formed in my living room! I told my wife I was going fishing Saturday and not doing yard work and whoop there it is. Hurricane Sara. I'll give coordinates when I can get a fix on'er. Her eyes about popped out of her head so shes going through eyeball replacement cycle at this time.

In all seriosness I thought we would have had a bonifide tropical storm or hurricane by mid August. If the prognostications hold and we don't have a couple of storms in August we could be in for a mean September.

Funny post Wobblehead! Image However, in my family the scenario is reversed. I tell my hubby that I am going fishing with my friends and he will not be eating my good home cooked meals for the day.
He does go through mid level cyclonic turning but in the end he eats the rewards of my catch...so he goes poof and I get to fishing again. : ) Image

Margaritas always get me in trouble.
Water out front is really getting hot. My depth finder read 92 out around the shallows of Sand Island.
Outer buoys are now recording 86 up from 84 Saturday. This high is really heating the water up.

You bet! Just tell your wife to try not to go through eye wall replacement and I will tell my husband not to spin down to the low levels. Image Then, we should have a quiet season.
