Here is the 500 mb pattern at 240 hrs from the Euro. On course for a direct hit on FL with the UL Ridge over the SE.

:D Good morning, Luis!! I've been up since 5:30, and NRL is not working. They may be doing maintenance on the server, it's still wee hours in California.

Windstorm, I love your satellite views of Africa. Would you care to share the URL? Thanks!

LOOKING AHEAD...THIS PORTION OF THE FORECAST IS STILL MANY DAYS
AWAY AND IS SUBJECT TO SIGNIFICANT CHANGES AND ERRORS. HOWEVER...
ALTHOUGH IT WOULD STILL POTENTIALLY BE MANY DAYS AWAY...WE WILL
CONTINUE TO MONITOR CLOSELY THE FAIRLY WELL-ORGANIZED TROPICAL
WAVE/LOW CURRENTLY EMERGING OFF OF THE WEST AFRICAN COAST. SEVERAL
COMPUTER MODELS CONTINUE TO INDICATE THAT THIS SYSTEM COULD
GRADUALLY DEVELOP AND MOVE WEST TO WEST NORTHWEST ACROSS THE
ATLANTIC DURING THIS UPCOMING WEEK.

From this mornings San Juan NWS discussion.

ooh the anticipation is very high this morning. I hate when the systems are that far to the east though. No good satellite pictures up close, plus there is not an invest area to even loop those sat pix. grrr.
