does anyone have an updated visible image? Also, does anyone have the RAMDIS satelite page?(adding favorites)

Steve Lyon says this baby will be slowing down soon as it gets closer to the Carribean.I hope we don't have another Andrew or Katrina building :eek:

I think it will go more North than it will South due to the structure and expected intensification, unless of course it fails to develop at all or just develops slightly, then Mexico is more likely.

LoL Dont worry i was in homstead for both of those and I wont say there names. I need to keep an eye on this storm as i am in the middle of a remodel of my house right now the roof trusses are supossed to be delivered on tues.

SECTIONS OF SOUTH AMERICA...AND THE ATLANTIC OCEAN TO THE
AFRICAN COAST FROM THE EQUATOR TO 32N. THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION
IS BASED ON SATELLITE IMAGERY...METEOROLOGICAL ANALYSIS...
WEATHER OBSERVATIONS...AND RADAR.

BASED ON 1200 UTC SURFACE ANALYSIS AND SATELLITE IMAGERY THROUGH
1715 UTC.

...SPECIAL FEATURE...

A 1008 MB LOW...ASSOCIATED WITH A VIGOROUS TROPICAL WAVE...IS
LOCATED OVER THE FAR EASTERN ATLANTIC OCEAN ABOUT 150 NM SOUTH
OF THE SOUTHERNMOST CAPE VERDE ISLANDS NEAR 12.5N25W. VISIBLE
IMAGERY SHOWS THE LOW-LEVEL CIRCULATION PARTIALLY EXPOSED TO THE
E OF A CONVECTIVE MASS FROM 10N-14N BETWEEN 25W-30W.
OVERALL...THIS SYSTEM HAS IMPROVED IN ORGANIZATION OVER THE PAST
24 HOURS AND A TROPICAL DEPRESSION COULD FORM LATER TODAY OR

TD should form at 10 PM i'd figure.


No real reason to jump the gun, it's still a good bit far away from the Caribbean islands, so the NHC won't jump to classify it. We all know it's going to develop anyway.
