I am so sorry Perry!

People are so dumb it makes me want to scream sometimes. Most of them are just messing with you so don't let it get to you... but be wary just the same. Keep your chin up.

I would say don't take it personally. If people are sending death threats, then clearly the problem is with them because I know most people don't solve their problems with death threats - the problem is not with you. That is to say, recognize that you are in the right and they in the wrong and deal with it accordingly, but don't take it as an affront. If they really have an issue and they want to settle it, they should be civil about it or just let it be.

I don't know how you take things but a death threat is a very serious thing and something I would take real personally. Needless to say, lawenforcement takes it real seriously. It just happens to be a crime....

Well, of course he has to deal with it. But I don't think it needs to be taken personally, which is different than just not bothering to worry about it at all. Obviously, the people making the threats are in the wrong.

Whether they are in the wrong or not does not really matter at this point. Perry's life is the most important thing.

Did you not in the first quote say nearly what I said? I think you did. Yet I get jumped on when I say what amounts to exactly the same thing.

Keep your chin up." is that they are probably just playing games, but that you should be concerned and watch out for yourself.

The other part was not an attack I was just stating that whether he is in the right or the wrong he needs to look out for his interests, ie his life. Whether or not he was wrong (which obviously he wasn't) is a seperate matter.

Guys, I'm not afraid...and I'm not the only one getting harrassment and recieving threats.

Several webmasters with sites in honor of Pfc Lynch and other former POW's have recieved threats....even death threats if they don't shut down their websites.

A friend of mine that is retired from special forces (USMC) told me there's a $100,000 bounty on Jessica Lynch's head. Eric and Debby Horner visited Jessi's parents and other family members a couple weeks ago and said she's being guarded by Secret Service agents 24/7 in Walter Reed hospital...and get this-- she'll have Secret Service protection for AT LEAST six months after she returns to West Virginia.

A non combat supply clerk...why? The Iraqi's want her dead. I figure either she saw things that can lead to war crimes convictions or because she's seen as the motivation the US stomped Saddam's vaunted Republican Guard into the sand (although I personally always thought they were overrated).

For whatever reason, there have been credible threats made against Jessica Lynch's life, and some out there hate her enough to threaten anyone with a website in her honor. It's kinda scary to think some people are that cold hearted and full of hate...but some are.

I've been called every nasty name in the book because of that site. Thankfully I haven't recieved anything nasty since Saturday. I've removed the link to the site from every forum I post on.

I already know Jessica and her family have seen the website and enjoy visiting it...that's all that matters, because that's the reason I created it--to make her feel better.

I wouldn't be scared either... only if you have your Address where the people giving you threats is visible, I'd be a little scared... but if they don't know your address, there is no reason to be scared.

There are some real wackos out there... who just try to be cool, sending death threats, etc... but they really don't know what they are doing... because they are so wacked out.

Keep your chin up, Perry... don't let this ridiculous stuff get to you.
