Re: Anxiety Building in Florida?
Too early. I'm not concerned or excited (because I always get excited when a storm approaches) in the slightest. Remember, at one time the cone for Ivan was pointing right at us. It doesn't mean much this far out.

I'm prepared, if it hits it hits, I'm not going to worry about something so far out, got to much other stuff to do and worry about...

I know it is early but you have to start getting a little wary if you live on the East Coast of Florida and its late August and you have a potential system moving into the Herbert box with a potential ridge building along the East coast of the US....with models picking South Florida more than any other place consistently...although the models are still inconsistent...
Anybody think about doing some preparations (if you haven't finished already)?
What a silly post. Models are in no such agreement today or ever for a system that is at least a week away from Florida. The system could still go anywhere from the western Gulf to Bermuda, yet you think the models are coming into agreement. Such foolishness. All storms that go through the Hebert Box do not hit Florida. No one can even tell with certain if the Leeward Islands will be affected, yet you are talking about Florida? Way over jumping the gun here.

Until you are actually IN the Cone of Destruction, Chaos, and General Mayhem - don't sweat it.
