Huh? Euro takes it into Florida and then the GOM as a very intense hurricane, NOGAPS never really did anything with it, and GFDL has it going into the Caribbean as a 970ish hurricane

GFDL and the Euro do not dissipate this(FAR FROM IT). NOGAPS has never developed it. What are you talking about?!

Don't people remember the last 2 afternoons, convection waned, people declared it dead, and it came back.

GFS shows in interesting feature off the coast of florida in 96 hours. This feature extends down into the 500mb map also.

Maybe that flareup is a start of somethig also its now in diurnal maximum

My sentiment also Dean actually seems to be relaxing in the sense the lack of E shear on the system.I might be wrong but I think it might perk up a bit later and get something going.just have to wait and see.

Looking at this run, again we see a mid-upper level feature off the coast of Florida. I think it might be a cut off upper level low. I wonder if it will put a dent in the ridge?
