Weakness in the ridge is the only consistent thing with past few runs. A weak Dean is the only system that makes it across the Caribbean a moderate TS or hurricane Dean in the next 36 hours is going to turn and it appears the PR to Hispanola area is where Dean is going to turn. Dean is going to be in or near Bahamas/FL or East early next week. Just my opinion...

This quikscat looks very very impressive and i would be very surprised if the NHC does not bump up the winds to 45-50mph on the 11pm or 5am advisory.

I think Dean will strengthen into a hurricane tomorrow or Thursday, and this could cause a more poleward movement perhaps into the northern islands

I have a feeling that when we wake up, in the morning.. we'll be waking up to a developing monster.

It is moving out of it's shear environment, into something a little more favorable.

I think tommrow at 5pm adv. we will have a 70 mph TS and maybe a Hurricane by 24hrs from now, if this happens watch out for a more WNW track. I do epect this to happens since systems SOMETIMES develops faster than predicted, sumtimes no.
