With the TCHP in the Caribbean Dean could do what Ivan didnt do... go over Jamaica as a Cat 4 or 5

It looks a bit more north than the NHC forecast, but almost seems likes its about to start heading more west at the end of the 36 hours.

About 0.5 degress further NNW then the 06z run at the same point, not sure its gonig to be that different though obviously with it being a little further north it puts Haiti back in the risk zone.

Not going to get it. In the model the trof is very weak. From when the storm hits the leewards it goes due west.
