We've got the WORST hurricane seasons..... :P

haha I was waiting for that. If that would have made it to Kansas, our Kansas joke would be pretty darn lame.

Okay I was looking at the 18 four panel NAM charts to see if it showed 92L. On the hour 66 model there seems to be a low forming on 92L. What really caught my eye was the Yucatan and the low there that isn't Dean. Is that something of interest?

http://www.nco.ncep.noaa.gov/pmb/nwprod ... /fpc.shtml

92L still appears a distance from Florida at hour 84.

I am not very good at reading these things so someone correct me if I'm not seeing something.

LOL - I do believe the "24-7 on S2K watching for development and wobbles" giddiness has finally begun to set in!

Oh..seriously the NHC does have an alert scale?
It reminds me of the terrorism threat level scale...maybe we should start giving hurricanes the name of terrorists...imagine, Hurricane Al Zarqawi or Hurricane Osama.

I digress...back to topic.
92L looks a bit weaker and more disorganized.
Look at the flareup at 40W and 10N though! http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/east/catl/loop-avn.html

Local news talks about 92L as a wave moving through Florida peninsula near the end of the week. The models have 92L only making it to @25N/75W by next Tuesday?

But I have a small one for each color. Then I don't have to say what it is.

I kinda liked the Big TWO scale also, but maybe there could be a gauge on the side of it, to tell us which one we're currently on.

Like so...

GAH! I saved it as JPEG. I meant to save it as a PNG to keep the quality.

Definitely:

Central Atlantic Rainbow

I'm not seeing any spin there. The closest I see any is down around 17N -64W
