Ok, I painted my bedroom. It's 4:00 in the afternoon. I need to get out of this house so I don't smoke.

Good job. Joshua.

Bron and Ed are you still doing well??? I'm sending my good vibes your way.

Thanks Ticka, I knew I could count on you.

Karan, good to hear from you. Keep the faith, sister. It gets easier. I only had a couple of urges for cigarettes today. Bron, you're due for your daily report!

OK, I'm still good.
I'm glad we can count on you ticka to keep us on the straight and narrow.

The urges are dwindling, finally, and when they do, they're not as intense. On Monday, the 30th, I go in for my physical, so I'm expecting lower blood pressure. Then after that, I'm expecting the temptations to have a resurgence. I'll be prepared.

Karan, you're doing great. Keep it up!

Bron? Write back. We're caring about you over here!

Ed,

Support is important not just at the beginning - but in the middle and the end too. Ya'll are my second family.

Keep up the great work and I hope you get a good report from your doctor's visit.

Patricia

Hi there,

I'm doing really well. You guys are great!!!

I have a confession to make. On Sunday evening my electricity went out at about 7:00p.m. I had a little anxiety attack - Went for a ride and visit with friends for 2 hours. Came back home - no power!!!! Lit some candles and went out on the patio and had 1 (One) cigarette. Sorry.

I'm ok now. I have a lot of support at work too. My kids have sent me cards of congrats and encouragement. Now, I really don't think I should have told them cause I can't back out now!!!!!lol I've always taught them that if something is worth doing, it's worth doing right. If something is worth starting it is worth finishing. Now how can I not practice what I preach. Geez

Ed, I think after you visit the Doctor and get that good report, we're gonna be on you like flies on poop. We want you to succeed!!!!! You're doing great!!!!

Bron, where are you and how are you doing??? I talked about stubbing my toe, now if you have, we will understand. Come on - report in!!!!!!!

Ticka, you're the best!!!!!!

Thanks
Karan

I quit around ten years ago and still have to fight the urge once in awhile. Especially when I am indulging in a few cocktails.

Good Luck Bronnie, we are all pulling for you. If I can do it, i know you can do it. you are an amazing person, maybe thats why you chose your screen name, every time I see it, I think of "amazing"

I haven't had a soda for 2 1/2 days now. :D I am so proud of myself for this. The temptations seem to be lessening except when sodas are around or being mentioned. Then it is almost impossible to resist.
