PRAY FOR ME PLEASE

#1 Postby Rainband » Wed Jun 25, 2003 11:30 am

After about 3 months of allergies and respitory infections...It now looks like I may have Acute Otitis Media..a condition..infection of the ear that can cause serious damage and eventually hearing loss. As a child I had ear infections all the time. The last few days I feel like I have a golfball in my ear...this condition causes the ustastion tube in be blocked by airborne bacteria..and having allergies makes it worse. The recent heavy rains have increased mold spores and this is the likely cause!!!!!Ok weather buddies..PRAY for me..thanks..I will let you know more when I do..

Sincerely

Got you covered RB. So sorry to hear that. It sounds really painful, not to mention scary at the possibility of permanent damage. Let us know how the Dr. visits go.

Oh RB, I had the same thing when I was younger. It was really painful!!!! Felt like my head was going to explode!!!! You'll definitely be in my prayers.

If it's any consolation, I grew out of it when I was about 45. The symptoms got less and less each year after 35 or so.

God Bless

Rainband, I, too, have acute otitis media...my ears are permanently "ringing", and I have about 65% hearing. Of course, I'll add my entreaties to the "warriors"!

Sorry to hear about that, it sounds really painfull and I hope you get better. I can somewhat relate though as I have terrible allergies and one of my biggest allergens is mold which has been sky high since all the rain had started. I've been sniffling and seezing for weeks now. :(
