Question; is "WeatherBug" worth a download?
I just received an E-mail from my younger brother that has a a link to download "WeatherBug"...do any of you have this, and is it worth the trouble? :?

Hi ! We had weatherbug for awhile and I really liked it, but it seemed to conflict w/ some other programs on our puter. Never could get it to work right. After I uninstalled it I didn't have anymore problems w/ freezing up on the computer tho. I'd like to find a similar program. The instant access was great. Not a whole lot of help to ya ...

It froze up my pc a lot as well. If you live in a big city and there is a AWS weathersite close then it might be worth it. Otherwise, I don't think it is worth it.

I thought it was a kind of spyware. I had it, and from what I remember it did things in the background, and I thought it was tied into some targeted advertising. Maybe I'm mistaken, but I got rid of it.
Just do a google search on weather bug. You'll get a zillion hits and you can browse thru and see what other people are saying.
