As some here know, I worked in weather for quite a few years - I'm now in another role that is also public-service oriented, so, it's all work for the public good, and, not profit-oriented (though we do get paid for what we do)...
In Marshall Dillon's day, a person worked as a carpenter or ran a printing press, but, they worked and were rightly paid for what they did - that was all...
Today, the local Home Depot and Kinkos work 7 days a week, without regard to God's day of rest, because, being closed would equate to lower profits for their investors - incredible...
