Invest 94L,Near Windwards-Discussions

Well - I can say this: following 94L is a heck of a lot more interesting than doing work. What would I do with an internet-free workplace?
I don't see the NHC being that bullish without a tighter circulation and/or a lot more model support for initiation. I think they'll retain their 1130 AM phrasing that conditions are favorable for some development.

Nothing to significant as you have noted but i said HINTS of some banding with 94L.Upper level winds as noted by the NHC are favorable for slow intensification.
Hey, I'm with you. It does look like banding in the SW quadrant.
Sure, maybe it's just the way the convection is forming, but it looks like banding!

I'm quite happy to have Labor Day weekend off. Go away 94L!

Hmm, strange. How far East would NHC would send a recon (presumably out of St. Croix)? 50W?

It has 700 nm to go to reach 55W. If it moves at 17.5 kts, that's closer to 40hrs. A little slower (15.5-16.5kts) puts it in your range, though.

I just noticed that neither the Ohio State weather site or NHC's own site has tomorrow's aircraft tasking.
Just curious, because sometimes they'll throw in a heads-up that a possible mission may be a day or two down the road.

I think the 55-60W area is the farthest east NHC would send in recon out of St Croix,

To my untrained eye, 94L appears to be pretty much erupting to life:
Floater One Rainbow
Am I seeing things, or is it really starting to pop?
