I have noticed a S drift with the more western low. This vis loop shows it well as darkness fell:

Here is another good loop that shows the southward movement. Also shows convection refiring in spite of W shear:

A NON-TROPICAL AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED ABOUT 100 MILES
SOUTHEAST OF WILMINGTON NORTH CAROLINA IS PRODUCING A SMALL AREA
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS ARE CURRENTLY
UNFAVORABLE FOR DEVELOPMENT...BUT COULD BECOME MORE FAVORABLE OVER
THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AS THE SYSTEM DRIFTS SOUTHWARD.

the position of this low on the right side of a retreating high and the left side of a trough means NORTHERLY shear IMO

although if this is non tropical the shear may not play a large part in poss. deepening?

Any idea if westerly shear in the area is expected to decrease soon? It looks like if it did decrease this thing would become classified pretty quickly

Ladies and gentlemen, when you are posting an image with no explanation, how are people who do not know the tropics and weather in general supposed to know why you have posted that image?

Please provide at least a short explanation of why the image has been posted and what it shows so others can see and learn.
