My goodness. I don't know how much of this daytime heat I can take. It is more comfortable in the evenings, but not enough to open a window and I am dieing to open the windows and let fresh air in. I have lived here all my memory held life and I KNOW that it won't even remotely cool off untill Ocotober, but is there ANY chance that I mgiht get a September re-prieve... even for a day or two? Just cool enough to not suffocate if I open the windows to air the house out?
Desperate in Southwest Florida.

Doubtful any cool weather is coming to Southwest Florida in September if climatology is an indication....

Only real thing to cool things off temporarily are those isolated afternoon thunderstorms, but temperatures slowly edge downward through September, so the real intense summer heat is surely behind you, though it may not feel like it.
