00Z=The system passes north of the islands, west of Bermuda, and does not make any landfall...

Sooner or later, one of them has our name on it. Not a guarantee, obviously, but with so many coming at the U.S., one has to hit sooner or later.

And note that October is forecast to be almost as active as September.

The gun has a lot of bullets in it- if it keeps firing, the target will be hit eventually. At least with a pair of cat-5s, the public will be alert perhaps more so than normal since hurricanes are making the news.

We have a long way to go- it's only the 3rd day of September.
