Wow.....MGC
Dang! I guess I missed that when I read over it, or my brain couldn't comprehend it.

Nah, I just think a lot of people want to see a US strike.

Really need to keep an eye on this now. The stronger the storm normally the more poleward they move. Any weakness at all in guiding ridge to the north spells trouble for the GOM.

But it certainly doesn't take a Cat 5 strike in the US to cause devastation...

Felix has joined Gilbert, Allen, Rita, Katrina, Mitch and Wilma near the top. Another very impressive CAT 5. Just amazing

A Navy hurricane hunter flight was lost with all aboard in what was believed to be Category 4 Hurricane Janet, following a very similar track and forecast track.

for those who are wondering, groupel is basically ice crystals, hail. You hear a lot about it during winter storms when you are on the borderline between rain and snow. basically ice. when you see it in a tropical storm, expect to see strengthening, and potentially rapid too.

Almost looks a(n)nular. You'd hate to see that happen, but maybe it would peak out before landfall.

When I said this was going to be a Cat-5 at the next advisory, I was joking. But the fact that Felix took me seriously is causing me to FREAK OUT! A CAT-5 in TWO DAYS! That's freakin' scary!
I'm really going crazy right now because I just got back and the news is just overwhelming. HOLY !@#$
