Feel free to correct me...Annular does not mean stronger, more steady-state and less likely to weaken, with a larger than typical windfield.

Correct. Annular hurricanes tend to weaken slowly and are usually large. Not always though.

Latest images indicate that perhaps at least the rapid intensification has let up. He might be starting to level off now.

yep, 98L right now has a bigger threat to the US than felix does.

I agree, 98L(should it develop) has a MUCH better chance of hitting the USA, due to how far North it is...The models are even seeing that, but back to Felix :)

P.S...How come sometimes I have to hit "submit" 2 or 3 times for the message to post? I don't quite understand that..Is that happening to everyone?..It happens all the time for me...

If 98L persists into tomorrow and Tuesday, it will likely develop.

I can't believe what I'm reading after signing back on.

Another historic hurricane.

There's people in front of this one this time. :(

When several people are trying to post at the same time this happens. Just have to be patient the boards are busy

Odds on TS Henriette (as a low pressure system) blocking a Northwestward course for Felix and forcing a Northeastward one?

Yes a most unfortunate circumstance Sanibel. I hope that where this does hit it will be an area where there are not many people.
