Convection Complex off Florida's west coast

Thought it looked impressive along a dying
front...any thoughts?

Looks to be 160 miles WNW of Tampa.

Surprised noone mentioned it earlier..CMC shows it as well...haven't looked at the others yet. Too much to keep up with the last few days. CMC still shows it at 144 hrs as well.

I don't think this feature is the one CMC is showing...

Yes it is..run it. 0 hrs & it's sitting right there..has it meander around towards La then back South pretty much to right where it is now.

Synoptics- building ridge that would push it west
and then a trough the same one that would influence 99L
may curve it northward.

I will watch it for persistence. If it persists then we have a problem.
If it dissipates it's all clear.

There are links in the model thread for 99L...heck there's links all over this board. I have found it helpful to save them to my favorites...that way I always have them & can run them myself.
Looks like another interesting week.
