You can see the LLC drifting to ESE on this visible loop....

I hope so, we need the rain desperately here. I hope it can move towards NC and SC and give the dry areas some much needed rain.

Pretty much. It qualifies as tropical, actually.

Yeah, I think I remember hearing someone say it was moderately warm-cored already?

I'm confused about how the potential storm could head for Carolina Or Florida, on the other hand. Isn't it moving in a particular direction yet so that we can see a tendency toward one state or another? I'm not wishing a storm on anyone, but we don't want it in S. Fla. 8-)

It obviously is not a TD yet or the NHC would have issued an advisory. I guess they feel it lacks enough organization right now.

Looks to be moving either east or east southeast on the sat loops... but the LLC is definitely moving in that direction at this moment

I would agree with this. Until we see how quickly/slowly that high pressure moves away from the East Coast we can't say for sure what will happen or how far west it will get. I think Florida is a lesser threat than the Carolinas (GFS/EURO agreement on the models) but it still is a threat nonetheless.

TWO will be out around 5:30. I'm still going to refresh the place where I get advisories just in case(Felix is already out), but usually we get a heads up from NRL or the models.

Most likely tomorrow. Hurricane hunters will be out in the afternoon(unless it totally falls apart before then, which I doubt).
