Low in Northern Atlantic
Anyone see the low in the North-central Atlantic? It is non-tropical but it seems to be developing convection and it is lower in latitude than the past lows in that area.

Are you talking about 99L or the swirl at 37N? If you're talking about the one at 30N yes that's Invest 99L and it's the buzz of the forum right now. If you're talking about the swirl at 37N it's a bit too far north in colder waters and is very extratropical, not to mention the upper level conditions just wouldn't be favorable, but it does look like Epsilon

Re: Low in Northern Atlantic
no, I know 99L
The other one further north. There were a few lows this season north of 40N that looked subtropical. This one is further south. I like to keep an eye on these as I think Epsilon formed and died in this general area!

Wow - per the photograph, the low west of Bermuda is following a trough that extends almost from the Bahamas to Greenland...
Now that's a trough...
Now that's a trough...
