I didn't know that finding a spanish name that starts with 'F' would be hard. This is why they should combine all the lists. More F-named storms are going to be retired than W-named ones.

Looking at a baby name list in Spanish, how about Fantino? Fritz? Fusiano?

Fritz would actually be a decent choice, seeing as it's not used anywhere, last I checked.

I would suggest Francisco, but that name is on the WPAC name list, creating the opportunity for a strange name conflict should a Francisco somehow cross into the EPAC, then the CPAC, then the WPAC.

Vicente exists on both EPac and WPac naming lists.

Used just last year in EPAC.

Yeah, I should've remembered that. Congrats on the mod status, BTW. :)

Let me think of a name...

How about
Feliciano?
Felipe?
Flavio?
Fortunato?
Fulgencio?

People can rule Fidel (Castro) and Felipe (Calderon) both out I think.

Flavio could work, I'm not sure if there are any conflicts.

Me personally would retire this, but I know it takes a lot to get a hurricane retired in central America. I'm still getting the data and the numbers in.

Hurricane Cesar killed 67 in 1996 and got retired(why?). Felix is SO gone.

Cesar was also notable as a rare crossover storm. I think all the crossovers were retired.

Wrong.

Irene, 1971

Olivia, 1971

Irene was not retired. If the cyclone didn't do anything major, it will not get retired.

If Congress gave Alberto González about 36 hrs to correct anything he had said before them, then you have no problem!!!

But "I think" you were wrong by just one ocasion. The others were retired but it was because of the damage inflicted, not because they decided to cross the border!!!

Cesar was retired because it killed 67 people! I don't know why there was a "why?" there. 67 people is alot! Obviously it did enough to at least one country to make a lasting impression that they would want the name retired.

And again, Felipe isn't an option, people. Not just because of Calderon but because WE ALREADY HAVE THE NAME IN THE ATLANTIC. Philippe in 2011.
