Re: Invest 99L:Off E Coast-Discussions-Analysis & Imagery
Are we seeing the flareup over the llc starting now? Kinda looks like it on the latest IR loops.

We have seen the NHC upgrade even after a recent model run listed it as something different remember.

And Recon has yet to depart.

Hope so as that should sufficiently organize the mess into one LLC.
Also, fwiw...

I'm not convinced they don't go with a SUB tropical storm!

Re: Invest 99L:Off E Coast-Discussions-10:30 PM TWO Shortly
Looks like NHC will wait for recon to try to find a well-defined center before upgrading. Could be an upgrade at 4am CDT. Meanwhile, you can see what the NHC was going to forecast this afternoon if the plane had found that good LLC. It's picked up by the 00Z early model guidance as the OFCI (NHC Official Interpolated) track. I plotted it with the CONU, a consensus model they like to be close to track-wise.

They won't, it has a warm enough core.

I agree, the convection is blowing up over the LLC. In which case likely strengthen it enough to close off.
