Storm 'Chase' Log: September 7, 2007

#1 Postby SamSagnella » Sun Sep 09, 2007 2:07 pm

There were a couple of tornado warnings today SW of the OKC metro area in the Anadarko area, but evening plans precluded any 'long-distance' chases. Tommy Winning and I did, however, witness a really cool storm right here in Norman during the 4 o'clock hour, just north of Westheimer Field (between HWY77 and I-35 on the far north side of town).

There was broad rotation observed with this pseudo-wall cloud feature for a short period of time, before it gusted-out all together. All in all, this storm was well worth the five minutes of driving that we invested into it lol.
