Question; is "WeatherBug" worth a download?

I wouldn't download it!!!!!!!!!! I just erased a bunch of "GATOR" files off my puter marshall lol :roll: Where did they come from..that and "hotbar" :o

No way ... Gator is a HUGE spyware risk. I downloaded it once (at the time being unaware of the spyware issues) and OMG I was stunned at how malicious the program was. :o I am never using WeatherBUG (capitalized on purpose) again. :mad: :roll:

As Shannon said, the Proversion of WeatherBug is pretty nice. It doesn't have all the advertising attached and sis usually pretty well behaved. The problems associated with the free version of WeatherBug are not with the program itself but in all the attached stuff. The infamous Gator was one of the distribution sources for the free version of Weatherbug. If you have any of their stuff on your computer get it off! Trust me on this! ;-) BTW, since everyone got to know Gator, they have changed their name. I believe that the new name that shows up is CMP something. It's the same crap just under a different name! Be aware! :-)

LOL... TWC Desktop... I was thinking of downloading it, then I remembered it came from TWC.

I also had Hotbar... that REALLY messes up your computer! :o
