(Virginia Beach, VA. June 28th, 2003, 8:30a.m.) All is clear at the Oceanfront this morning, after tourists say they may have spotted sharks Thursday evening.
Hundreds of people were ordered out of the water while emergency crews searched the waters. Beach emergencey services say they never confirmed a shark being in the water. They say a tourist saw a school of fish jumping around and thought sharks may be feeding in the area.
Two years ago , there's was a fatal shark attack at the oceanfront in Virginia Beach, and there has been a shark related injury in Va Beach every year since 1995.
Swimming anyone? :o

Did any of you know that everytime you go into the ocean you come within 15 feet of a shark? Best time to avoid the ocean is at dawn or dusk. Steer clear of murky water because the bullsharks like to feed there even if it is only 3 feet of water.
You are not safe in the rivers from sharks either. Bullsharks are known to swim in rivers. They sometimes go to the river to have their young.
