I am going to guess 50 inches for Denver. I dont think we will get lucky last year, but I dont think we will be as low as 30 inches like the bad drought years. This summer and fall have been relatively wet so i think a normal to slightly below normal(norm is 60''), with a nod to la nina seems appropriate. ONe thing to note...El Nino and La Nina have very weak correlations to Denver winters. El Nino was supposed to mean less snow...but we saw what happend last year. La Nina also has a weak correlation to less snow for the Front Range area of Colorado. Some has Denvers biggest storms have occured during both La nina's and El Nino's...so we shall see.

Hopefully we can have an average winter in SE MN (55-60"). Then I will be happy. I'm sick of seeing brown grass in January and February.
