It looks like two waves at the moment but they may be consolidating. Anyway we likely could see 99L soon...

99L is up under the archive section of NRL, but with no data yet. So this wave might be being added as 99L.

5:30pm TWO has it as two systems and at least right now the easternmost has the better chance:

A TROPICAL WAVE LOCATED ABOUT 600 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE CAPE VERDE
ISLANDS HAS BECOME A LITTLE LESS ORGANIZED THIS AFTERNOON. ANY
DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO BE SLOW TO OCCUR AS IT
MOVES WESTWARD AT ABOUT 15 MPH.

A WELL-ORGANIZED TROPICAL WAVE POSITIONED OVER THE EASTERN ATLANTIC
OCEAN ABOUT 300 MILES SOUTHEAST OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS IS MOVING
WESTWARD AT ABOUT 15 MPH. SOME DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM IS
POSSIBLE OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.
