Reminds me of 1995 but then there were about that many named storms out there at once!

So time for predictions from the pros and amateurs.

How many TDs, TSs, and Hurricanes this season?

I will say 9 TDs, 7 TSs, and 4 Hurricanes.

Once again I'm just an amateur and this is my humble opinion.

This is showing a few interesting things, the one in the center of the GOM. The one in the middle of the Atlantic that looks like it could be growing into something big. Karen in the North Central Atlantic, the wave behind it. There is something off the EC also.

The following is the opinion of Cryomaniac, an as such is not based on any information, meterological or otherwise. It should not be used for any purpose

I personally think there will be one more storm this month and then at least three storms in October, maybe four, two or three in November and one or two in December.

As common as it's become in the last 4 years or so, it's still a bold prediction.

there is only Karen and Lorenzo out there now. I think 97 and 98 are gone.. maybe we will have a lull before we get anymore.

Certainly, but no-one should be afraid of making bold predictions.
