I know they have a weather update during Atmospheres and I believe Storm Stories at 53-ish past the hour. I am not sure if they have one during the first half hour.

This is nuts. Due to the major flooding that will likely be occurring in Louisiana tomorrow, they should pre-empt the show and cover it.

I would think they should continue broadcasting the updates on TS Bill... rather than showing a rerun of Atmospheres. But then again, they probably scroll warnings/watches along the bottom for the "in-the-path" residents would know... I'm not sure if they do that though.

The Weather Channel always has a scroll when there is a Severe Weather Statement issued from your local National Weather Service during Atmosphere, Storm Stories and during their regular coverage current weather and national weather forecasts and local forecasts.

Others (such as weather enthusiasts, like ourself) like to tune in to The Weather Channel to watch the latest on a storm not affecting our area. As I mentioned last night, during Atmospheres Saturday, they had a crawl for severe weather in Minnesota. [right after the show started at 11:01:40 PM ET after 100 second weather update.]
