If the 18Z GFS run verified, then this storm would be a major drought buster for the SE US - probably would erase the yearly deficits at most stations. Checked the 200 mb winds and an upper level high builds over the western caribbean and eastern GOM in 5 days - hence the weak and slow motion of the storm (while intensifying).

MAJOR flood threat for SFL and Keys if this verified..

here in northern Palm Beach county - we do NOT need any more rain! We will not be able to get out of our driveway if this is a rain maker. Water found it's way into one of our rooms already! The last week has been unbelieveable where we live.

But you know what's really unbelievable? Lake O,the source of water during the dry season,is still about 3 feet below normal..

We are west of Lake O and kept trying to blow the rain that way but it hasn't seemed to help much!

I agree, specifically near 26N/70W. Looks like the begining of a cyclonic spin. This area looks more impressive than 90L on the IR.
