Hurricane Proof Building

can build fully resistant hurricane structures so that people
don't suffer tragedies and lose their homes.

A reinforced concrete dome would be pretty wind proof, and from all directions.

Here in PR we almost exclusively build houses in concrete. Those constructions are strong enough to withstand a strong hurricane.

The reason is - I guess - that we have no way to run, evacuation is no option on an island..

Well another reason is the cheapest possible method for maximum profit as well. I wish I could have seen Bob do a concrete dome episode with a video that doesn't stop in the middle of certain segments and refuse to go further like mine did. I'd like to see a concrete dome with solar panels built in flush with the roof under hurricane-proof glass so the owner could have power the next day while everyone else was without. Water capture for emergency water etc.
