When and where will Claudette form?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

When and where will Claudette form?

#1 Postby cycloneye » Mon Jun 30, 2003 6:07 pm

As Bill made it inland and is going to dissipate in the comming days let's turn our attention on when and where the next system will form.Well this is only a guess and a hunch poll because this is non-scientific.

I say by july 27th east of the windward islands by 500 miles

Well, since I already said (in an earlier post) that she could wait a couple of weeks, I'll give her just that - July 13th in BOC/SW GOM waters.

July 11th just south of PR. This will happen since I will more than likely be in WV then!!! If it happens, I will have a wife who is livid because there is a storm "out there" and I'm out of town. With my luck one of the BOC guesses will be right as far as location and I will be right about the date. Then I will have to get serious about getting home early along with 34 other people from my church! :o

WOW! A lot of clustering dates. July is usually more quite than June, but given the way this season has started out I am going to say that we will see a July storm.

Cyc, start watching, I'm going to say Claudette around your neck of the woods around July 6th. Also a little bonus, a TD off the East Coast around the same time.

My first thoughts was that you would get Danny, but I'm going to bump it up one.
