TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

SOUTHEAST KANSAS
MUCH OF MISSOURI

EFFECTIVE THIS WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND THURSDAY MORNING FROM 530
PM UNTIL 100 AM CDT.

TORNADOES...HAIL TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND
GUSTS TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE
AREAS.

THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 85 STATUTE
MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 30 MILES SOUTHEAST OF MONETT
MISSOURI TO 70 MILES NORTH OF COLUMBIA MISSOURI. FOR A COMPLETE

Tornado warning for northern Barry County, MO. Tornado is expected to be near Monett in a couple minutes.

Best looking tornadic cell that I've seen all day out of the Springfield, MO radar . . .

LSR icon just to the west of the hook reports debris in the air, and the LSR right in the hook is actually two reports, one from law enforcement and one from "tower personnel at SGF" . . . that must be one astounding sight to see . . .

In surveys, some of these could be tornadoes.. this part of AR is pretty rural.

LSR also just in reporting a wall cloud with that cell in SW MO at mile marker 60 on I-44 . . . apparently the tornado lifted before crossing the interstate, thankfully . . .
