When Bill moved near or over Lake Ponchatrain (sp.) .., I saw a sudden burst of convection occur just before last light visible images ...

Did anyone notice the sudden burst of convection?

I did not see it since I was offline when it crossed Lake Ponchitrane(sp?)but it would not surprise me at all due to the size of the Lake. I did notice as it crossed I-12 that it appeared to be holding together rather well with a still very discernable center on radar. In fact it's presentation was as good as or better than it was at landfall.

Busy...
Well, I was certainly busy the past 2 days. I flew home from my mother's at 7am Sunday, drove to the office, sat down & logged in, and 10 seconds later I got the pop-up window saying Bill had formed. Was there until 8:30pm.
Anyway, I did save a couple of images from Bill's landfall. I may be able to save a few more when I get in this morning. I tried just making an image link myself and popping the image up in a new window but this forum is resisting my effors. I have HTML turned on. The images are kind of big.
