Something interesting happened to me yesterday...
I was in the living room, reading, when I heard a loud screech followed by a banging noise. The first thought that came to my mind was, "Somebody crashed," and that is exactly what happened. I ran to the window, and saw one car in the middle of the intersection, with one side caved in, and another car sitting in the yard of the house next door. I found out later that a car ran a stop sign and t-boned another car. I grabbed the phone and ran outside to check on the drivers of the cars. They were ok, and somebody called 911. It turns out, I knew the driver of one of the cars! She goes to my church, and she was on her way to work when the accident happened. The drivers got out, they were just shaken up. The police arrived within 2 minutes after I heard the crash, and soon after came the fire dept. The cars were totaled, so they had to be towed. They were cleaning up the scene for about half an hour, and then they left, and it returned to normal. Just thought I'd share that, because its not something that happens every day!

Wow! :o Glad to hear everyone was safe. It definitely spruced up your day a little bit, too.
