Update

#1 Postby timNms » Tue Jul 01, 2003 1:55 pm

Sorry I'm late. Decided to go back to bed at 7:30. Didn't wake up till after 1 LOL.

Only damage I saw was the top of my sweet gum tree is gone. The tree is about yrs old. I planted it to have some shade in the front yard. The wind took about a 4 foot section out of the top. Other than that, there are some leaves and branches strewn around.

This could have been much worse for this area. Had Bill been a cat 3 hurricane, damage from LA thru MS would have been bad.

To all those who suffered damage from this storm, my prayers are with you.

Glad you didn't experience any major damage... it could've been a lot worse and thankfully it wasn't. :)

Glad to hear you didn't have much damage. We have about 6 bradford pear trees right next to my house and Lili took all the leaves off, shredded them, and plastered them to the house. It was not fun hosing all of that off!
