Do fish get affected by storms?
Don't they live under the sea and end up rather unphased.?

I read where a couple where scuba diving when the huge tsunami struck a few years ago and came back up astonished to see what had happened when they saw that the village they had left from was almost gone. (I rea about it in a Rick Reilly column from Sports Illustrated)

Fish-spinner is a figure of speech, and cyclones do affect areas up to 100 meters down, but not on the same scale that they affect things above water.

Whoa...

That looks... really decent, actually.

The NHC has to at least mention this in the 5:30 TWO.

If they didn't though, I wouldn't be surprised.

Might only be mentioned in the high seas forecast, however...

The season looks to be o-v-e-r (and out)...

A comparison between the low near 34N/36W and Epsilon of 2005. They look very similar, and a similar pattern aloft.

Haha, knew it looked subtropical. It appears, thankfully, that the NHC now see this bugger. I doubt we'll have an Epsilon repeat (that was once-in-a-lifetime, like about four or five other storms that season), but this could become subtropical before dying. The convection is interesting for a storm this far north.

Looking surprisingly tropical...

I hope the NHC is paying attention to this.

92 should be up soon if organization and transition to warm core continues.

Maybe tomorrow if it can get some more convection around the center.
