Favorite/Best Decade for Movies

#1 Postby Cyclenall » Tue Nov 06, 2007 2:22 pm

What's your favorite or best decade for movies? Mine is the 1990's. There seems to be the greatest concentration of good movies around that time with a few spilling over to early 2000.

I voted 80's, but 90's had a lot of great movies, also.

80's for me also. That is the decade that special effects really began to "mature" and not llok too cheesy. + you can't beat the music with many of those movies.

Borderline 70's/80's in my opinion.

TV movies ruled in the 70's though (Roots, Holocaust, and other mini-series and movies of the week).

70s or 80s; I know one thing for sure, it certainly isn't this one. That isn't surprising though given the recent proliferation of remakes, and thus lack or original material.
