Favorite stand up comedians

I love comedians, I'm interested to see who some of you like.

Probably my most favorite stand up is Mitch Hedberg. Unfortunately he died back in 2005. My favorite quote from him is... I ordered a chicken sandwich but I don't think the waitress understood me because she said, "How would you like your eggs?" So I tried to answer her anyhow. I said "Incubated, and then raised, and then beheaded, and then plucked and then cut up then put onto a grill then put onto a bun, sh*t it's gonna take awhile. I don't have time, scrambled!"

My second favorite is Dane Cook. His comedy is kinda different, you either love him or hate him. I also like Dave Chappelle, Jim Gaffigan and Eddie Murphy. The one he did on Bill Cosby on one of his really old stand up's I almost died laughing.

My all time favorite was Lewis Grizzard. He's be gone awhile. Here's one of his best......"Y'all know why Junior League women don't engage in group sex? All them thank you notes."

Ron White did a benefit up in Jackson, Mississippi after Katrina. He opened with something I will never forget. He said he felt obligated to tour the coast before he did the benefit. He saw the devastation. He mentioned seeing glass everywhere with tape on it......he looked at us all kind of funny and broke the silence with...."For Gods sake people, the hurricane blew trees into the next county.....what did y'all think that tape was gonna save?" The crowd roared with laughter. A bittersweet moment.

I love stand-up comedy! It's the only reason why I ever watch Comedy Central.

Favorite...
Hands down, without a doubt, no questions asked, Mitch Freakin' Hedburg.

"They say the recipe for sprite is lemon and lime, but I tried to make it at home, there's more to it that that... 'Hey, you want some more homemade sprite?' 'Not till you figure out what the f*** else is in it!' "

Just his style, laid back, dead pan, simple, it just made him so hilarious.

RIP Mitch, we love ya.

Dane Cook is also a huge favorite of mine. I also like Ron White, Larry TCG, Bill Engvall, Kevin James, Bill Cosby, Eddie Murphy, Ralphie May, Carlos Mencia, and Jeff Dunham (the ventriliquist guy)

The Amazing Johnathan is also awesome. He claims to be an amazing magician, and while he can perform magic, his act is as a failing, ameteur magician. It is totally hilarious.

I loved the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. I've watched it over and over and still laugh til my side hurts. The story about the beaver was the best.

I saw Steve Hurst live once and I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my entire life.

It's kinda hard not to like the BCCT. The third one was the best one for everyone except Foxworthy. I think he fell flat on a lot of his jokes. The other three have never been funnier though.

Soy bacon. XD
