Woke up this morning...it was a muggy 72 out. Right now at 5;30pm it's 50 degrees with 25mph gusts out of the north. BRrrrrr. :cold: Thank goodness for some warm turkey leftovers.

:uarrow:

Yikes! I just went out to check the weather and was fine in shorts still. They are saying we will in the mid 70's tomorrow. Kinda bites that all I can get is the regional forecast from NWS - seems the point forecasts are down until Monday or so.
Quote from the 9:06am update:
NOTE...DUE TO SERVER OUTAGES...THE WEB BASED POINT AND CLICK
FORECASTS FOR MOST OF THE EASTERN 2/3RDS OF THE COUNTRY REMAIN
UNAVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. INTERNET USERS WILL SEE THE ZONE

Got just over a tenth of rain today. Not quite as much as I hoped for.

No rain in sight for S FL. If this weather pattern continues by April we should be able to walk Lake Okeechobee or possibly drive our cars across because the water would of evaborated by that point. Yes I'm joking but the Lake will be really low to set another record by spring time.

Water Restrictions have been unchanged, but have been extended to the end of the calendar year. These restrictions may be tightened next month.

South Florida continues to bask in summer-like conditions...once this "cold" front fizzles over the FL straits check out what happens. Big blocking high:

It doesn't feel like December at all.

NWS Miami snippet

LONG TERM...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...WITH A LACK OF M/U LVL
SUPPORT THE STALLED FRONT SHOULD DISSIPATE BY THURSDAY. THE
EXTENDED RANGE GUIDANCE THEN HAVE A MASSIVE DEEP LAYER RIDGE
BUILDING NORTHWARD ACROSS ERN GULF AND FLORIDA PENINSULA THROUGH
THIS PERIOD. THIS WILL NOT ONLY ACT AS MAJOR BLOCKING TO ANY
APPROACHING WEATHER FEATURE BUT ALSO WILL INDUCE STG SUBSIDENCE
OVER THE LOCAL AREA. THIS, IN TURN, WILL RESULT IN DRY AND WARM
CONDITIONS ACROSS THE AREA WITH ABOVE SEASONAL TEMPS.

That is not fair. You get seventy degree weather and we have to freeze to death. If only November was a little more cold, we could take it.

It's interesting; I've seen the minimum temperatures a lot more above average than the highs this year.

I'll trade! I hate these 70's and 80's.

:uarrow: And the hilarious thing is, there are some people from the far north that would be burning up anywhere in the country.
