Appropriate answer as to why holidays are missing is:

because I made it!

In this day and age it appears no one can be happy. I would scrap all the holidays and just put hurricane nut activities in there. Date of earliest tropical storm, any out of season storms of note, beginning of winter, spring, fun weather stuff like that.

But it's not my calendar, is it. :)

And that is what I want to do. :) I eliminated the holidays and started to add past important weather and hurricane events.

Lately the offseasons have been going by soooo fast. It might seem early but 170 days will fly by before ya know it. In the mean time hope everybody has a safe holiday season and looking forward to what 08 brings us.

Wow,it looks like yesterday that I started this countdown, but it was three weeks ago that I began this, and look how time has been fast. The ticker started at 181 days left and see where it is now.Time goes so fast that you will not notice that June 1 will be around the corner.

Another date set to add: April 23 - 28, 2008 - WMO Regional Association IV Hurricane Committee - Thirtieth session (Orlando, FL)

Also the start of the EPAC season (May 15, 2008) should be added as well.
