The MS Coast beach is currently under a major face lift project. They are pumping back millions of cubic yards of sand to replenish the sand eroded by the numerous storms... Project involves extending the sand 230 feet out from the sea wall, working 24/7... expect to be completed within the next 6-8 months.. from Biloxi to the Pass... ~26 miles to replenish... here are a few pixs of the project as it develops in front of my house.
This guy is here every day, just hanging around.... I've named him Kramer... he's been here for the past year or so, see him practically every day, weather permitting...

Re: MS Gulf Coast Beach Replenishment Project
Hey there Frank! It's an interesting process to see, although I've only seen it once! If I remember right they say it won"t all remain .You lose some due to normal processes until it stabalizes(unless you have a big storm).Sorry, can"t spell this morning! We will be over to Biloxi tomorrow ,coming home Christmas day, so maybe we'll get to see it in action. I know Bonefish Grill at the mall is open, but are there any other restaurants in that area open yet?Besides the ones in the casinos I mean! Have a great first Christmas in your new home. Maybe I can talk hubby into stopping by to say hi!

Hi cag, thanks for the Christmas greeting, same back at ya...
not very many new restaurants to report on in Biloxi... Gulfport has a new one call Tugs near the old Kremer Marina, off Loran/Cowan Road... the Schooners in Biloxi (across from Nativity Cathedral) is better IMO... there are a couple of new ones opening in Edgewater Village, one a Mex/Cal sports bar to open in Jan, the other Al Fresco's (sp?)in March... an Italiano Restaurant.. they have one in downtown Ocean Springs... the couple of times I've eaten there its been pretty good... I've grown quite fond of High Cottons on Pass Road in GPT... near Hardy Court Mall...

I will be glad when 90 finally starts to becoming home to some new restaraunts for sure. The whole area south of the Tracks needs more development as far as businesses go and I know that insurance is an issue but most large companies are self insured.I seen your house the other night Frank looks good with the lights going down the stairs.
